Due to our rainy and cool summer our cabbage has taken over the farm! You might get more that you want but they store ( washed, wrapped and refrigerated) for several weeks.
One of the easiest ways to prepare cabbage is to simply slice about 1″ thick, drizzle both sides with olive oil, sprinkle with course salt and cracked pepper than bake at 400 for one hour turning once at 30 minutes. The seasoning variations are unlimited.
This is an unbelievably sweet and tasty way to cook cabbage it almost tastes like a whole new veggie. Any leftovers can be used cold as a condiment in veggie wraps and burgers. I think it would be an amazing addition to brats off the grill as well.
